Set Up Guide:
STEP ONE) Your new VMOD comes pre-assembled. Please take it apart and study how it comes apart, and goes together. It is very simple; just unscrew the cone, and push out the chassis. This gives you access to the battery, and juice bottle. Load a 14500 type battery, fill up the juice bottle, and screw it into the chamber. Your VMOD is ready to go back together.
STEP TWO) Take the Silo cartomizer and remove mouthpiece. Drip six drops of e-juice into filler material, and replace mouthpiece. Now screw the Silo cartomizer into the chassis. Gently seat the cartomizer—when it bottoms out it is ready to use. DO NOT over tighten! This will cause damage to the O-ring on the bottom.
STEP THREE) Slide the chassis into the body, and slide the cone over the cartomizer. Tighten the cone to the chassis, and snug it down to take out any play of the body. DO NOT over tighten!
STEP FOUR) Your VMOD is ready to use. The firing button on top of your VMOD has an on/off switch. Check to make sure it is in the active position. Turn to the left and it is locked, turn to the right and it is on. After you have turned it on simply press down on the button, and take a puff. You are now using your VMOD…enjoy!

The Beauty of the VMOD is that you always have a supply of e-juice. After 5 to 10 draws you may want to prime the cartomizer to keep it fresh tasting.

The best way to feed the juice chamber is to first tilt the VMOD at a slight angle with the tip facing downward. This ensures the e-juice is entering the transfer port. Now give the bottle a light squeeze until you feel some resistance. This indicates the chamber is full.

Next, bring the VMOD upright, and give it a little squeeze to send the e-juice into the Silo cartomizer. Since the VMOD has an upper chamber surrounding the cartomizer there is e-juice ready to go. Just squeeze the bottle to push the e-juice in the chamber to the cartomizer. The feeding of your VMOD is a personal thing, and we encourage you to find a method you like to make it work…there is no right or wrong way!
Tips & Tricks!
· Whenever you notice a decrease in flavor; pump the bottle once in any position to get juice to the Silo cartomizer. It may take more pumps to get juice into the cartomizer, but feeding you VMOD is a learning experience that takes trial and error. Everybody is different, and you will find the sweet spot you desire after using it for a while.
· In some cases you may flood the system; if you notice a slight gurgling noise or get a little taste of juice it means there is oversaturation. Don’t worry, it happens to all users. Use a paper towel to wipe the tip of any juice, and blot up the excess e-juice inside the cartomizer. Here’s a tip: If on the go with no means of wiping the excess off, just flick the VMOD downward to drive out any excess juice in the system. You can also lightly draw on the VMOD to burn up the excess e-juice in a pinch while on the road.
· Silo Cartomizers are disposable items, and performance rated for three weeks of solid use. Results may vary depending on how you use your VMOD, and what e-juice you run through it. Sings of decreased performance include: the draw becomes difficult, minimal vapor, and taste has become different. If you feel the performance has dropped it’s probably time for a new Silo.
· It is a good idea to keep your VMOD clean. The VMOD has no electrical parts so washing it is simple. Remove the battery, juice bottle, Silo cartomizer, and wash all the other components in warm water and let dry. We do not recommend rinsing Silo cartomizer with water!
· The best way to enjoy your VMOD is with a freshly charged battery. A TrustFire 14500 will last a good day of vaping!
